 The JWI Health & Wellness program is a union sponsored program that supports long term employee health.

Joint Workforce Investment (JWI) is a partnership between the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 265 (ATU). JWI is dedicated to creating a work environment that supports the long-term professional development, health and wellness of employees.

CAREER SUCCESS

The objective of our mentorships is for employees and management is to collaborate on ways to improve the work environments, job training and job quality of life for bus operators, mechanics, and other transit professionals, giving workers a greater say in designing their work environment.

BECOME A MENTOR

Our Mentors are a critical component of employee success! Experienced workers are matched with newer employees in training to show them the ropes and serve as a sounding board and source of advice. Program participants earn college credit from Mission College during their job training
